NEeMA is considered a singer songwriter and spoken word poet. She is also a traveler and searcher

NEeMA spent years backpacking around a huge part of our beautiful planet. While in India in '97 she was blessed to meet mother teresa and the dalai lama, which made her realize the importance..necessity of each person's actions. She has also spent several years working with and learning from the Tlicho indigenous people in Northern Canada

In october '06 she released her debut album 'masi cho' across Canada…many wonderful and talented musicians collaborated in its making. You can visit her website NEeMAfor more info, bio, other media stuff and lots of interesting goodies or see a full bio in the blog up top.
NEeMA is working on the next album now....

Below are some of her videos.
The first is a music video of the prayer/song masi (thank you) that was recorded last december as a message of hope and peace.

The second video is live footage taken at the Montreal cd launch in October. It’s the song ayii woole that NEeMA wrote for the people of Wekweti. it includes footage i shot in the small isolated Tlicho community of Wekweti in Canada’s far north.

The third video is a collaboration with Josh Usheroff and François Turgeon for a piece that was screened at the world peace forum in Vancouver in June. The theme was reflections on water

A fresh talent that blesses us all.
Thank you NEeMA
